Normally on Sundays I head over to the local Roller Rink (Olympia Skateland) and skate for a few hours, but I was able to go on Saturday so I opted to head out to the Pacific Ocean and spend the afternoon out at the beach. I was able to sit back and listen to the waves, see kids and adults playing in the waves, watch crows play on the wind, watch flocks of sea gulls fly down the beach, watched couples hold hands and walk on the beach barefoot and just talk, parents watch their teenage kids play Frisbee while curled up in a blanket and time seem to slow down, with the smell of salt water in the air and sand between my toes it was exactly what I needed… oh did I mention I took a few (hundred) photos?
