I knew when I saw the first digital cameras back in 1988-89 that digital photos would replace film. I have been studying and developing my photography skills since 1992. I have also been working with Adobe Photoshop since 1998. Since then I have been dedicated and focused on working with digital photography and using Photoshop as my darkroom.
I graduated from Jefferson County Open School. I then started college, but after one and half years of college I opted to join the US Marine Corps and developed my skills and abilities as Intel Analyst. I completed four years of honorable & distinguished service and moved to WA state and got my Bachelor of Arts, with a focus in Ecological Agriculture from The Evergreen State College. Since then I have been an eco-friendly, organic & regenerative farmer while continuing to work part time (and few full time jobs) as a graphic designer, website developer, and always doing photography and expanding my range of skills as an Artistic Photographer.

Origin of Sord:
First recorded in 1425–50; late Middle English sourde; origin uncertain; perhaps from Middle English so(u)rden “to arise, originate, come (from), soar up (of a hawk),” from Old French so(u)rdre, from Latin surgere “to rise, get up” – Dictionary.com
The term “Sord” has several meaning for Claude. It originated back in 2003 with a video game where Claude selected Sord as his character’s surname. Over the years his friends began to call him Sord. It is also a reflection of who he is as a person because he has always enjoyed helping people rise up and become better. When he resumed roller skating after many years, Sord took on an additional meaning as the acronym “SorD,” stands for “Skate or Die.” As a dedicated roller skater, this further resonated with Claude. Now he felt the word Sord would be a good name to represent his business.
